Scena

Scena is situated on top of a hill just above Merano in South Tyrol; the district stretches out from the boarders of the Town of Merano until the mountains Cervina (Hirzer) and Ivinga (Ifinger).

Thanks to this favourable position, to the mild climate and the vast tourist offer Scena has been able to develop in to one of the most esteemed resorts of South Tyrol.

Scena’s most famous landmarks are the Church with the nearby Austrian Archduke Johann of Austrian’s Mausoleum and Scena’s Castle which is nowadays the summer residence of the heir of the Austrian Archdukes, the counts of Merano. Inside it preserves some beautiful collections of armours and weapons.
